Ingredients
- Chicken skinless:1 and 1/2 kg,8-12 portions(make slits on each)
- Yogurt plain:1 cup, whipped and strained
- Lemon juice:5-6tbs
- Red food color no.6:1/4-1/2tsp
- Cooking oil/melted butter:4-6tbs
- Shan tandoori masala:1 sachet(do not mix in water)
Methods
Serve hot chicken tandoori with shan tamarind/green chuteny.
- MIx lemon juice, food color, shan tandoori masala and 2tbs oil/butter.Apply to chicken pieces. Prick all over the meat.Set aside for 30 minutes.
- Apply strained yogurt and set aside for 3 hrs+.
- Arrange the pieces in a tray and dis card the marinade.
- Bake in a preheated oven, (350 F)for 25 minutes.Apply remaning oil/melted butter on chicken and place the tray under high setting of grill until lightely brown or barbecue.
Serve hot chicken tandoori with shan tamarind/green chuteny.
